Post by: Bdoomed on November 03, 2018, 04:30:10 AM
PseudoPod 618: Goblins & Little Orphant Annie (http://pseudopod.org/2018/10/26/pseudopod-618-goblins-little-orphant-annie/)

Author: James Whitcomb Riley (http://pseudopod.org/people/james-whitcomb-riley/) and Orrin Grey  (http://pseudopod.org/people/orrin-grey/)
Narrators: Phil Lunt (http://pseudopod.org/people/phil-lunt/) and Leeman Kessler (http://pseudopod.org/people/leeman-kessler/)
Hosts: Alasdair Stuart (http://pseudopod.org/people/alasdair-stuart/) and Karen Bovenmyer (http://pseudopod.org/people/karen-bovenmyer/)

“Goblins” was first published in order to add an original story to the deluxe hardcover edition of my first collection NEVER BET THE DEVIL, which was release last year (2017) by Strix Publishing.

“Little Orphant Annie” is an 1885 poem written by James Whitcomb Riley and published by the Bowen-Merrill Company. First titled “The Elf Child”, the name was changed by Riley to “Little Orphant Allie” at its third printing; however, a typecasting error during printing renamed the poem to its current form.

I must be slightly touched... after listening to Goblins, I have a burning need to eat a dill pickle. What a lovely, nasty piece of work.

Ommmm nommmm nommmm.  ;D
