I had no idea where else to put this; so I thought I'd talk about it here.
AOL accidently released searchs for its customers, so we could see what was searches on a reference number were done in order. It was for adverts apparently... but hey, its not why I made this
so Something aweful looked through lots of it... and found funny stuff. what you would expect, sex and so on

And it brought a tear to me eye
Within that short number of searches is a while story of self destruction. It's a story of reaching out for help. It's a story of a family in trouble. Especially the last part.
It brought a tear to my eye. Maybe it is because I know it is real. but I doubt it; I think its because it unfolds before us. And to a degree we see part way into the future.
But its a story from the point of view of a search engine. not a computer, or a blog, or anything peopel are trying to tell anyone anything.
People can be very open with a search engine; because people think its private and are seeking answers to specific questions. They ask exactly what they want answered. They are more open they many people would be with a blog or any friend.
I just thought I'd share, because I was surprised at how it moved me....
Have there been any stories from this sort of point of view?
