Ok, some more details:
Submissions will be accepted until July 31st. Judging will take place after that.
I will need 3 volunteers, 1 for each podcast. I will forward them to you and you will narrow them down to 10. Should anyone actually involved in one of the podcasts wish to help, they get priority.
It's not official yet, but it's highly likely that there will be Tshirts made for each podcast. The winning tag line for each podcast will get a free tshirt. These will be limited editions and numbered! Contest winners will get Tshirt #1. Other contestants will have a chance to order shirts before the public in general does.

The shirts will have the winning tag line. I'm working out the details on logos. The more detailed we make the shirts, the more they will cost. I'll provide those details when I have specifics. The tag lines will not be limited to these shirts, but the shirts themselves will be limited editions.
You can submit for any of the podcasts, and for Escape Artists in general. You do not need to submit an entry for all of them. I'm going to set the number of submissions per podcast at 10 per person.

I've received a few stinkers, and am thinking about listing the worst submissions after the contest is over, anonymously, of course. I wonder, though, if some of you are trying to be horrible.

Not enough submissions? What do we need to do? Extend the deadline and talk it up on the podcasts? (Which we would have done already but [insert whining here about being busy].)

Alright, submission deadline has been extended. Probably until the end of August, but not 100% guaranteed.
I am going to forward the entries to the judges in August. I'll probably start around the end of the first week. Judges, be sure to get your submissions to me before then.
Still looking for one more judge. The judges will narrow the field to 10 per podcast and 10 for Escape Artists in general. I'll take the lists and combine them, so we'll be voting on 10 to 30 per category.
Bonus: If you submit your entries before August 1st, you can enter up to 10 per category. After that, it will be 5 submissions per person per category.

Ok, folks, we haven't gotten very many submissions since the Metacast. Tell your friends, and send in your tag lines. I guarantee they won't be the worst we've seen!
Also, we still need artwork. Send your 1 color drawings to artwork@escapeartists.net. Simple is better for this run, as we're trying to keep costs down. However, if you have some awesome stuff it might get featured on future shirts as well. If your artwork is chosen for the current crop of shirts, you'll get a free shirt. If it's used in the future, you will receive royalties.
If there is a piece of artwork that is promising, but not quite there, we'll let you know so you can tweak it.

Submissions have been forwarded to our 3 judges. They will get back to me and I will get a poll up.

I have received the choices from one of the judges. The other two ::cough::bdoomed::cough::izzardfan::cough:: have not gotten back to me.
I think we're going to have to go with 2 rounds of voting.
Round 1, everybody gets 3 votes. Top 5 choices advance to round 2 where everybody only gets one vote.
Polls will go up when I get the top 10 from the other judges. There could be up to 30 for each category.
There may not be a prize for Escape Artists in general, as we did not get many submissions for that. We'll see. The poll for that category will be 1 vote only, and one of the options will be "none of the above".
Feel free to pester any judges that have been dragging their feet...

Polls are going up. Assume any grammatical errors are mine. I did not select any entries, the 3 judges did. All I did was forward every submission that was received prior to deadline.
Vote for up to 3 choices in round 1. Top selections will move to round 2 where forumites can vote for 1 entry. Unless there is a tie, round 2 will determine the winner.
In the Escape Artists poll, you can vote for only 1 and the top selection will be the winner. None of the above is an option.

I am removing myself from the Podcastle contest. I followed the rules that I set forth. Again, Rachel ends a discussion because she feels it is over. Sorry, NOBODY else on this forum could get away with that. I did not even receive a courtesy message explaining what happened. I will have nothing to do with Podcastle.
If that means that the rest of EA does not want my assistance, I will forward the names of the people that submitted the entries that have been selected so far.
I'm shutting up now before I cross a line.
