I really liked this one. I can see this kind of society developing - I have met people like that. But, I feel there's a bigger message beyond the obvious agrophobic one. Anyone have any thoughts?

I am just honored to have my name attached to something written by Greg van Eekhout.  I was smiling from ear to ear when Dave gave me the opportunity to read it.  I think this story is a good demonstration on how to do great world building within a small word count.

A typical great Van Eekhout story grenade.  Good worldbuilding, good stuff overall.

CryptoMe--besides individual agoraphobia, it made me think of societies that fear influence from other society's.  China comes to mind with their restricted travel of past decades and their more recent Great Firewall of China.
