Title: let the community google that for you...
Post by: Listener on October 10, 2012, 08:31:07 PM
Today on Twitter, a writer who I follow posted a question about an animal, asking if said animal can see in color.

It took me less than 30 seconds to find the answer on google. (It was "yes".)

If I wasn't hoping to someday be noticed by this author, of whom I am sort of a fan, I would've sent her to lmgtfy.com.

Look, I understand the concept of asking your fans to look stuff up for you because it makes them feel more connected to you as a writer, but, I mean, YOU'RE WRITING ON A COMPUTER WITH INTERNET ACCESS. How hard is it to google your own answers?

It just drives me crazy sometimes.

End of rant.

That's why I typically limit my twitter questions aimed at fans to "Who'll get in the ring and oil jockstrap wrestle me at the next con?!"
