I voted for Thomas J. Whitmore.  I also voted for a candidate not on the list: Hari Seldon.

Oh, man. I would totally vote for Prez!

(That was one of my favs in the Sandman comics...right up there with Emperor Norton. Wow, I need to do a Sandman reread one of these days!)

I was stupid and didn't read down to Dave's vote for two sentence before I voted, but if we wanted a VP here is my ideal ticket:

President Zaphod Beeblebrox
Vice President Havelock Vetinari

Zaphod is canonically described as having the most important quality in a president: distraction.

Vetinari is obviously the most efficient person to rule from the shadows. Heck, he might even do better as "White House Political Director" while we put somebody else in as V.P. (Charles Xavier perhaps, to influence those damn obstructionist senators).

Also, why no ability to vote for The Head of Richard Nixon (and presumably Headless Agnew.)
