@braak
oh man could you write a story about a necromancer whose job it was to resurrect long-dead entertainers only to have their routines an embarrassing hash of lifelessness and dated racism but still loved because people just want to remember
@asymbina
.@braak There's a story floating around out there, name I don't remember, but I believe @escapepodcast ran it - about cloned scientists used by thinktanks, with the necessary genes as intellectual property.
Do you know the story being referenced? The premise is familiar, but I can't place it.

In the area of entertainment EP 404 has robots doing Shakespeare by recreating specific past performances of the roles. It touches on some ideas that might be raised by a story about resurrected performers.
