PseudoPod 618: Goblins & Little Orphant Annie

Author: James Whitcomb Riley and Orrin Grey
Narrators: Phil Lunt and Leeman Kessler
Hosts: Alasdair Stuart and Karen Bovenmyer

“Goblins” was first published in order to add an original story to the deluxe hardcover edition of my first collection NEVER BET THE DEVIL, which was release last year (2017) by Strix Publishing.

“Little Orphant Annie” is an 1885 poem written by James Whitcomb Riley and published by the Bowen-Merrill Company. First titled “The Elf Child”, the name was changed by Riley to “Little Orphant Allie” at its third printing; however, a typecasting error during printing renamed the poem to its current form.

Listen to this week's Pseudopod.

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

I must be slightly touched... after listening to Goblins, I have a burning need to eat a dill pickle. What a lovely, nasty piece of work.

Ommmm nommmm nommmm.  ;D

I'm a stand-up philosopher until 2024. Then, I move onto my next gig. I'm a gentleman forester and farmer. I also enjoy jumping into Lake Huron and panicking the fish.
