Great setting, great reading.

I'm not a big fan of revenge fantasies, but it worked here.

I agree: great setting, great reading.  The premise is also impressive; a selkie hires a siren who has an office as a private eye on a domestic abuse case.  Wow.  The nonhuman characters were so interesting I was a little dissapointed that the human characters were just ugly. I would like to read more in this setting.
