Am I the only one who thought this tale reminiscent of Douglas Adams. Wry humour. Surreal. Hell, I was even envisioning an Indian version of Discworld.

A nagin. I’m butchering the language & spelling. A serpent. “A fearful king, is a formal king”. There are SO MANY other truisms, THIS is good stuff.

I'm a stand-up philosopher until 2024. Then, I move onto my next gig. I'm a gentleman forester and farmer. I also enjoy jumping into Lake Huron and panicking the fish.

The nested format was perfectly crafted and was like nice flaky layers of roti. Excellent all around.

P.S. I still want a Bollywood Kaiju film adaptation of Lord of Light. But I would also be happy with an adaptation of this story.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”
