question about erotic horror

So, I just stumbled across Pseudopod recently and I was considering submitting a few of my pieces.

The thing is I mostly write erotic horror. I reviewed the submission guidelines and it does mention that there is no bar on sexual material and as I go back through the episodes there's certainly a few that get fairly explicit.

But, not to beat around the bush, my stories are often fully pornographic. I pride myself on also making good, interesting and scary stories as well...but porn-with-plot is still porn.

So I'm wondering if that would be considered inappropriate for a Pseudopod submission. I also ask because I have a few that could be cleaned up a bit from hardcore erotica to softcore or even just R-rated, so I'm more than happy to take a stab at that if that would be more acceptable.

(By the way, apologies if this is in the wrong section. I looked but couldn't find an area that seemed more suitable.)

We don't necessarily shy away from sexual themes/pornographic/explicit or anything, but you have to tell a good story, and you'd likely have a hard time convincing the editorial team that the smut aspect is necessary to the story's plot.

We're looking for good horror stories that work well in audio. If you think one of your stories fits that bill, go ahead and submit it.

Erotic, sure. Prurient is tougher. We tend to prefer horror first, regardless of what other sub-genres tag along.

Thanks for the info, I bet I've got one or two that can be submitted with a modest adjustment in focus.
