I had thought it was possible to update a torrent, but google's giving me no help. When I get back home (currently on a jet engine training course), I'll set up a test, to see if it's possible by some jiggery-pokery, to keep the same files you've already got, and then only add the new ones.

Of course, if this doesn't work, it would be possible to just bring one out every ten episodes or so, though that would get a bit messy in my opinion.

I'm also tempted to just set up something equivalent to the escapearchive.com site, as that should be possible quite easily, just using another blog. That'll take a while though. An important question though, is why do files drop off the end of the feed? Is there an inherent limitation on the number of items?

I would say every 20 episodes just make a torrent for eps 140-160 or whatever.

Files are dropped because the bandwidth is expensive.

Link to mininova. It's a simpler way, plus people will expect it.

Okay, it took me long enough!  But there is now a link to the MiniNova torrent page right above the Archives in the sidebar at pseudopod.org, and I've added a little note about BT'ing on our shiny new "Support Pseudopod" page as well:  http://pseudopod.org/support

It's probably down to your seeding action that I managed to finish the whole thing yesterday. Thanks,  N-sh, and I'll start seeding now.

Looks like the link at http://www.mininova.org/tor/2083431 has expired, and me without a copy of the file.  Who's still seeding what?

I'm almost caught up in all the episodes of Escapepod and Podcastle, so I decided I would give Pseudopod a try. I found that this torrent is still being seeded:

Is this the same one that was on mininova? (By the way, you could locally host the torrent file, as it's very small, instead of relying on mininova or demonoid to host it.)

As this torrent goes till episode 118 and iTunes's feed starts at episode 168, is there a way to download the episodes in between without doing so manually?

Thanks.

I just created a new torrent with all pseudopod episodes, full and flash. Its new so seeding will be slow, but I'll leave it seeding til it can survive without me.

Thanks! I finally downloaded all the missing episodes manually a few days ago ... it wasn't so bad after all.

I'm trying to get torrents up for all EA 'casts and want to post a torrent to Demonoid, but they're closed for registration. If anyone has a Demonoid account, could you send me an invitation to join? PM me for whatever details you need. Thanks.
