Currently working my way through from the beginning and am in the middle of #3 "Little Boy Leg Bone". Impressions so far: Excellent premiere with Sigler's "Bag Man"; wasn't impressed with the flash piece "Waiting Up for Father" ...
... but the second flash piece, "Your Shoes", hit a nerve. It took my occasional musings/fantasies about "what if I woke up and found I'd become a woman" and turned them on their head in a nasty way. Of course, in my flights of fancy my body had simply become female, rather than my having body-switched with an actual person, but still ... the story's been sticking in my mind ever since listening to it last night at bedtime. I wonder how it might have been different had the protagonist's wife not been a rape victim ... but then, the story would not have been the one that I got and that has been haunting me all day. This is the kind of "disturbing" that I was led to expect from the 'cast's early press.
