I'm glad this one lampshaded the similarity to Flatliners.

But it was still Flatliners.

And, unlike Flatliners, it's resolution was pretty dull.  They find out something horrible (possibly) awaits them after death, so let's burn down the lab?  Eh.  Total lukewarm reaction from me.  Next.

I was entertained by this story. I think it's a nice counterpoint to the recent promotion of a book about a boy who dies for a short time and sees heaven. Every time I see or hear a bit about that book, I'm now thinking about this story instead. Thanks for keeping the cynic in me fed.
