I'm listening to Pseudopod's oldest posted stuff back in 2006, and I'd like to make comments on it.

But the comments thread on the main site are now disabled.  And there is no topic for the first podcasts in the "Episode Comments" division.  I can't seem to create a topic there myself (probably due to permissions, maybe you have to be an admin to do it).

Anyhoo, my point is:  Can someone add topics over there for the older stuff so latecomers like me can post their thoughts?  :)

These forums were started January 1st 2007.  the stories from before that don't have threads.  I've added some threads for EP and will continue to do that as they are requested.  We have a thread for that somewhere in the EP section.  Start making requests for specific episodes here and we'll see if we can get bdoomed to put them up for you.

i'd be happy to post old episodes, only you are the first to ask :P so if anyone wants an old ep posted up here, just ask and ye shall receive!

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

After listening to some recent ones, I'm listening to them in order from the beginning, and have listened to episodes 1-12 so far, but will be rapidly continuing through the rest, so when you get the chance I'll be interested in commenting on all of them.  :)

I did this before.  Remember to use the proper wards!  And if you feel the need, there are puns for almost each episode...

:)  I'll be really sad when I work my way through all of them and then have to cut back to one story a week instead of 10+  :P

That is exactly how I felt when I'd caught up with the Pseudopods! However, I started somewhere in the high 90's so if I crank up my bittorrent client i'll have stacks to go through.

Or, I could buy the discs I guess.

You'll be surprised at how picky you'll be about new episodes after a marathon.

Back from a week's holiday away from home (and the Internet... NEVER AGAIN) and I started listening to PP from number 1.

Damn, but you guys bought some freaking excellent stuff. Ben and Mur were (are? was? is) the biz in picking stories. And to my delight I've heard not one but TWO stories by the excellent Stephen Dedman, a fellow Aussie!! (And his was the first PP Christmas story, yet!)

Question though: what happened to Mur? I'm only up to Ep 20 so I guess I'll find out in good time, but I loved her hosting the 'cast. (Not that I don't love Alisdair's flair as well, as I mentioned elsewhere). Mur seemed to have exactly the sense of humour and relaxed-ness to fit the material, and I miss her a bit. In fact, along with Ben and Alisdair, she's the best EA host (or does that make her one of the best?) Well, all three are the best. Or something.

Hey, is there a thread for 006 What Dead People Are Supposed To Do? Because that one had me loudly guffawing most of the way through, ensuring my wife couldn't nap properly.

Question though: what happened to Mur?

Mur just had too much going on and couldn't keep up the pace.  She left PP and that's when Al came on board.  Totally different styles, but a fair trade.

and that completes the backlog, peeps!
have fun!

Now the circle is complete.  The three spires of Escape Artists have been fully lain before the throng.  First, feedback.  Then, the slow and careful conquest of the world. (laugh with me) Mwuuuuuuhahhahahahahaha!!!
