This was posted on Tor.com today.  I don't know the author so I can't say if he's good or not, but the post says he writes horror.  Mod, please feel free to move or edit this post as you see fit.

Name sounds familiar but not sure of anything he wrote.  Could just be a somewhat generic sounding name.  So many david's in Horror/SF and other Genres i read.

He seems to have done mostly online serialized novels.  His last couple have also been printed by Three Rivers Press.

As others have said, Wellington got his start serialising his work online, then the stories were taken up and published in the real world.  His first books were a zombie trilogy (not very good) and then he started in on some vampire fiction (atrocious).
