I have started a new podcast, but it isn't a fiction cast.

It's for fans of "The Big Lebowski". Those of us who are dudes are a community, and some of us are actually Dudeist priests (I am!).

So, I decided to do quick little things about being a "Dude of Faith".

The first one is up, the sound is only OK, but I'll get better. 5 minutes, nothing heavy. I'm not beating anyone up with religion. That wouldn't be very dude-like.

If you're interested, here's the link:

I think I'll be listening to more! :)

Dude!

I like your idea for the podcast.  A very relaxed discussion with a spiritual thought.  The length is just about perfect.  Any longer and it would get old, but in little chunks, it's great.  And I think you'll also find a rythum that you'll feel good about, too.  Pretty cool, dude

Facehuggers don't have heads!

Come with me and Journey Into... another fun podcast

Sorry about putting this in the wrong place. Maybe a little more research next time? Or a few less beers?

Glad you guys like it! I will be writing more of a "show note" in the future, including links. Still talking to the guys over at the Dudespaper (dudespaper.com) about being linked there.

We'll see how this goes, but not til after my nap.

It'd very weird.  I have been a  HUGE Coen Brothers fan since Raising Arizona.  I've seen all of their movies (most in theaters) including Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, and The Man Who Wasn't There.   And I seem to be the only person in the world who did not like The Big L.  It's been a while, but IIRC, there was an unpleasant meanness to it, especially John Goodman's character.  I guess I should watch it again.

OK, I set the website so that you should be able to comment without being logged in. If it gives you any problems, let me know.

I edited the dudecast and put the legalese on the end.

It isn't for everyone. Walter (Goodman) is not mean, just obsessive, and a little crazy.

Personally, while I've liked most of the Bro-C's films, nothing after Blood Simple has approached that film's brilliance for me, and in particular I don't get why Fargo is so acclaimed.  Lebowski was... okay.

First: The episodes will stay up, so you can listen whenever it can be done.

Second: Then, how did you post?

I guess I can call myself a podcaster if I have 6 consecutive, on time podcasts up?

I think you can call yourself a podcaster after you've got ONE episode up.
