So, having purchased a new set of headphones with microphone, I've decided to begin doing audio versions of my daily stories whenever I have time and inclination.  I'd love any help and/or feedback people are willing to provide.  (Where to find a nice song to play under an intro/outro that's only a few seconds long, what a good audio program is, how to make things actually have different sound levels, and so on.  I tend to just poke at things until I find something that works, but I'm terrible at processing sounds.  My brain, I mean, not my computer.)

It's not a podcast per se, but I figure people around here are probably knowledgeable about that sort of thing, so...  yeah.

Thoughts?
