Last week, people preferred spinning heads and profane outbursts to pointy ears and long fingernails as The Exorcist won out over Nosferatu

This week we have a mad man, dead twins, and a gifted boy versus a dude with a serious piercing addiction.

Facehuggers don't have heads!

Come with me and Journey Into... another fun podcast

Hellraiser was fun and all, but this is no contest for me.  Perhaps that's just because I haven't read The Shining and must therefore judge the movie strictly on it's own merits.

You're determined to make these difficult. Just damn. Last week was great slow burn stuff, and I'm happy to see how close it was. Both of those films have aged very well, and that's a big part of what makes it a best film ever. In this pair, there's one that has aged far less gracefully. But I'm not sure I'm willing to see a remake with more modern effects. (EDIT: and apparently I'm not alone)

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”
