I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

This guy sort of reminded me of the protagonist in that one Escape Artists story...  I'm drawing a blank on the name of that one...  Was it Immortal Sin?  The one where the guy was trying to game the religious system after a murder.

Anyway, I thought the unreliable narrator was well portrayed.  He so sincerely felt that he'd been wronged--just like the saying goes, everyone is the hero of their own story.

That's what's so scary about this one. This guy has no clue! I love the way he's pissed off that the woman didn't love him even though he's good looking, has good prospects, and was nice to her. As if that's all it takes. This guy clearly has NO idea of what love is.
