Though I've never read Lovecraft -- yes, I realize it makes me not really a fan of sci-fi; I've never read Hitchhiker's Guide either, if that helps solidify your hate -- I do recognize him as a prominent name and as such thought people here might find this interesting. The Artwork itself is beautiful, the reason it's being shot may have other implications for fans.

I always enjoyed Lovecraft's ghouls - living eaters of the dead. I like the way they are monstrous and unappealing, but potentially sympathetic, ensouled beings. I think they could make an interesting counterpoint to vampires, who are appealing but ultimately horrific and villainous, since they must consume the living to exist, while ghouls only have to eat the dead.

Heh. That would make a great supernatural "romance." Horrible unappealing ghoul struggling to save the human girl he's become infatuated with from the sexy vampire she's fallen in with.

Ok, that's enough meandering from me. Also, this was a great link and thanks for sharing.
