It's a hard question to decide - I think I prefer most pies to most cakes. But the best cakes are better than the best pies...

Such a hard question when you come right down to it! On the one hand, I prefer most cakes over most pies. On the other hand, there are the Best Pies. Now I'm really sad that I no longer live in an area that has Baker's Square.

Cake, hands down. I can't find it on the intranet, but I recall some comedian laying it out thusly: "When you eat cake frosting straight from the can, you feel decadent and indulgent. If you find yourself eating pie filling straight from the can, it's probably because you're trying to survive after a natural disaster."
