Well, but... isn't that the person eating the pie? Would the pie make those sounds? I mean, it might... perhaps by being eaten it is fulfilling its destiny... Also: PUMPKIN PIE OM NOM NOM NOM

My unholy love for New York style cheesecake (which can only be described in clicks, grunts, rude gestures and pictograms of Velociraptors tearing apart sad faced people made of spongecake) drives me not only to vote for Cake, but to take arms against my filthy pie-loving foes.
Fear my wrath o' people of the pie, for it is terrible and.... wait... is that a cheesecake over there?!

You get some weird images when you type "velociraptor sponge cake" into Google Images.

Cake. I have a dark cocoa cake cooling downstairs right now, waiting for me to apply the whipped caramel milk chocolate frosting.

Give me cake! Pies ultimately are a crust with some sort of filling. Tasty, yes, but not really much you can do with that.
Cake, on the other hand lends itself to so many varieties. A cake is typically a set of sweet baked goods layered on top of each other with various fillings (pie filling, ice cream, etc.) and topped with a frosting of some sort. There are litterally thousands of combinations and kinds. OR, you can just eat the cake batter strait. No need to cook it.

Cake, pie...doesn't really matter to me. Just as long as it's stuffed with charred Smurfs.

there is no yes please. I don't like pumpkin pie, and don't like the texture of coconut flakes, otherwise i like pretty much all desserts.
