Hi there! Matt Arnold here. I operate PodDisc.com. I was kind of alarmed to discover that there is a whole forum section about my website that I don't know about! I'm very sorry to have been absent from the discussions. I have subscribed to notifications of all posts in this section, so I hope to be more active here.
In other news, pre-orders closed for the
Escape Pod t-shirt,
Pseudopod t-shirt and
Podcastle t-shirt on November 16. As noted on the shop page, we took pre-orders for the shirts. I have not processed any payments yet because I do not yet have the t-shirts. On November 16 we collated all the pre-orders, and placed our order with the t-shirt printer, including many extra shirts for those of you who are continuing to place pre-orders. I will receive this print run between December 4 and December 11, process the payments at that time, and ship them the day after receiving them.
Those of you who placed your order before November 16 will be shipped shirts from this print run. The rest will be shipped that same day, but in the sequence in which the orders were placed, until this print run is exhausted. You can still order, but it is not guaranteed that you will be in this print run and receive shirts before Christmas. (If you live outside the continental U.S., it never was possible.)
Did you know the yellow ink on the Escape Artists t-shirt will be flourescent? Apparently it's not glow-in-the-dark, it's a pigment that you might classify as "neon". Will it glow under black light? We don't know! Tune in next time, kids!
There are a few more podcasts and audiobooks I hope to add to the site in the next couple of months. I'm in talks now and will let you know as soon as they're up.
