I'm just digging in to The Weird, and it may seem greedy to be thinking about what wasn't included in an 800-page book, but I'm curious if PP listeners have ideas about additional or alternate stories they'd have liked to see in this anthology.

(On the Kindle, an 800 page book is less daunting--if I don't look down at the little percentage display, I just experience this monster one screen at a time.)

The TOC includes some of my all-time favorites such as M. John Harrison's "The New Rays," Robert Aickman's "The Hospice," Kelly Link's "The "Specialist's Hat"... so I'm excited to see what new favorites I'll find among the authors I don't know yet.  I've been trying to figure out a name for what I liked ever since I read Charles Beaumont and Fritz Leiber's darker stuff as a kid.  (They're also represented in this collection.)
