Not seeing anything yet. Does it kinda fade up if you stare at the screen long enough?

Belay that comment - it's the post labelled 'Group 1'. Yeah.

I see it!  Off to do some reading!

(Also confirmed that if I log off I can't see it, just to make sure)  :)

Yay! Is it weird I woke up early jumped out of bed and grabbed my iPad to check? Good group of stories to get this contest started.

I wonder how long it'll be before comment fatigue sets in. Right now people are going gangbusters, and I imagine the authors of the first stories are quite impressed at how much feedback they're getting.

Yeah, last time it trailed off quite a bit, probably some from general fatigue, and some from people losing interest when their storiy is voted off.  It should help that this contest isn't running in overlapping fashion with Pseudopod and Podcastle like last time.  By the time you strung all those together it was something like 4 months solid.

Hopefully the level of fatigue won't be very great - the podcastle contest last time was around the same size and maintained interest more or less throughout. It's only, as Unblinking said, the following contests that really suffered, especially the previous Escape Pod contest which was not only the third in a row, but also had more than 1.5 as many entries as this contest.

Not seeing it.

Still not seeing it.

Nope, not there.

Oh wait THERE it is! Huh. How about that, it was there all the time.

Blighter hid from me too. And in plain sight - how sneaky is that?

Hats off to all you who've entered.  I haven't read all the stories yet...pacing myself...but the quality and creativity is just excellent.

*smooths down her party dress and looks around*

Am I late?

Actually, I have been voting, simply unable to comment due to having a friend in from out of state. Looks bad to be glued to one's electronic device(s) typing away madly instead of hosting.

Now, I am unencumbered by social obligations. Let the commenting portion of the party begin.  ;D
