So my wife (Kat Rocha) has really been craving a good haunted house story to download from Audible. So far her favorite is Richard Matheson's "Hell House." She tried "Haunting of Hill House" by Shirley Jackson but was less thrilled by it. Any suggestions?

Amityville horror.  The movies were based on a book, which was supposed to be based on a true story

I don't have an Audible account, but the free short story reading of John Everson's "The White House" over on Tales to Terrify might scratch her itch.

I'd also suggest some back issues of Podcastle, particularly the Carnaki stories: "The Whistling Room" and "Gateway of the Monster".
