I'd like to start podcasting and this seems like a relatively affordable -- but high quality -- microphone with a USB interface.

Anyone know if this is good, bad or ugly?

Or have a better alternative?

Thanks!

I don't have the C01U myself, but I know several podcasters who swear by it -- and their shows sound pretty good.  It is a good way to get a studio-quality condenser mic without having to invest in a mixer, a digital interface, etc.

I use it, and no one has ever complained about sound quality.

Well, at least no one has complained to my face.
