In episode order:

278 The Prophet’s Daughters read by Tina Connolly - Tina delivered the right about of vulnerability and steel to these girls. Also, go check out Toasted Cake.

291 Lizardfoot read by John Bell - The reading put this one over the top. It could have just been silly, but the delivery sold it.

313 The Dead Sexton read by Ian Stuart - Any of the Ian Stewart stories could go up here, and I could easily nominate the three and be done, but this can't just be a one-man love-fest. The deftness with which he handled the dialectic portions of The Dead Sexton really elevates this reading above his others.

Honorable Mentions:
273 The Crucifixion of the Outcast read by Wilson Fowlie
283 Dust Bunny read by Big Anklevich (you should be listening to the Dunesteef)
Great performances delivered by a bunch of the PseudoPod folks: Graeme Dunlop (you should be listening to Cast of Wonders), Brian Lieberman, Alasdair Stewart.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

thanks Fenrix!

k, my top three:

291 Lizardfoot read by John Bell -- as so often happens, the narration immeasurably enhances the whole! Apt, funny, it was like it actually happened :)
270 A Revelation of Cormorants read by Ian Stuart -- Ian, of course, is an outstanding narrator but I adored this one! The slow build, the befuddled mind, the discursive nature of the first portion of the story -- just absolutely nailed it.
303 Flash On The Borderlands XIII - Responsible Parties
Magnitude Seven read by Patrick "The Voice" Bazile -- Again, the narration really, really lifted this one to a new level above the prose. Awesome.

...but I also really enjoyed:

265 Biba Jibun read by Kara Grace -- I felt Kara's voice suited this perfectly (except for not being Japanese which is, obviously, no fault of hers!!)
271 Flash On The Borderlands X - Demonica
The Drowner read by Cian MacMahon -- A really clear portrait of the drowned dead.
302 Singing By The Fire read by Nathan Lowell -- A great story made better by a great narration.
307 That Ol’ Dagon Dark read by Alasdair Stuart -- Particularly chuffed to hear Al read for Pseudopod again!
308 The Crawlspace read by Rish Outfield -- Rish is always a pleasure to hear :)

I completely agree on these. I was going through the list and was rather surprised to find one five that I could recall production touches to this past year.

Top three, in no particular order:
269 The Burning Servant read by Stephanie Morris

The others I really liked:
292 Coming Soon To A Theatre Near You read by Dave Robison

307 That Ol’ Dagon Dark read by Alasdair Stuart

I declined to nominate myself, but I do appreciate those who have given me an honorable mention.

I have to agree with the masses on this one:

John Bell on "Lizardfoot" for bringing thought and depth, doubt and reason to a story that could have been ridiculous.
Corson Bremer's multi-character delivery in "The Meat Forest."
And, because I will always choose her, The Word Whore's reading of "Pumpkinhead."

Reader nominationoms will be closing this weekend.  A poll will follow shortly thereafter, maybe.  It's going to get crazy with this flash contest starting this weekend as well.

On second thought, scratch that, reader nominationoms are closing this Wednesday, the 27th.  That'll give me time to get the poll running before I am swamped with the other contest.  :)

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
