Hey Everyone!

Thanks so much for your patience. We've spent some extra time looking at a lot of these stories. As I've said before, there was a lot of good stuff here, and it was difficult for me to narrow down the selection down.

The good news is, we will be picking up six additional stories! Here's what they are (in no particular order):

"Lord Darq, Regis and the Orb of Power," by John Nickerson
"Tired Eyes and Clever Hands," by Nathaniel Lee
"The Wine," by MCWagner
"Crow Gifts," by Angela Lee
"The Machine That Made Clothes," by Nathaniel Lee
"The Dolphin," by Dave Bishop

Congrats to the authors, and thanks again to everyone who participated. It was a lot of fun, and it'll be fun to hear these stories at PodCastle  :D

Best,

Dave

Geez, the Lee family is cleaning up in the editorial picks!

Well deserved, mind you.  I like all of these.

Damn the Dolphin!

"Lord Darq, Regis and the Orb," by John Nickerson

Minor quibble by the author: you missed the last two words of the title. It's actually "Lord Darq, Regis and the Orb of Power".

PS - Very excited about this!

Heh, yeah.  Angela and I had a 100% hit rate this time around.  Angela in particular seems to do decent-ish in the contests and then get picked up by the editors afterward.  :-)

Hooray for everyone else, too!  I'm glad to see those stories getting the additional attention they deserved.

Woot! Congratulations to all the Editor's Extras!  I'm glad to see all these stories find their way to publication.

Yeah! Geez Louise, Lees, you're the bees knees; even the big cheese, if you please.

God damn the Dolphin!

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

Ooh! Remember me if you happen to need a narrator for "Lord Darq"...

Woot!  Yes, Graeme would be a great match for that story.
