Folks, this is to let you know that the forum will be moving to a new Internet host in the next few days. During the move the forum will be put into maintenance mode, meaning you won't be able to post. Once we're in maintenance mode, the move should take 30-60 minutes.

I assume the fact that I got an email notification this morning means that you've done the move (and that doing so has apparently fixed at least that problem, if not more! Yay!).

Just to let you know (not complaining) that the forum software doesn't seem to be able to find the image files for the emoticons. Instead of pictures, I just have their names (Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin etc.).

The images for the formatting buttons (bold, italic, etc) are all there, though.

Hmm. thought I fixed that. There was a problem with avatars and the smileys icons was the same thing. Could you check again, possibly refresh the browser?

Well, they're there on this browser (Android built-in browser on my phone), so that's good.

When I posted that this morning, it was from a browser that I had never gone to the forum with before (I started a new job this week), so it's weird that it wouldn't have picked them up.

On the other hand, the company is a firewall company, and maybe the images didn't get past their software for some reason.

Yeah, smileys don't work for me either.  Not at home nor at work.  (Google Chrome in both cases.)

Trying it now, on my desktop computer at home (which uses the same router as my Android did, in my last post), I don't see the smiley images. Firefox in this case (and with my first post this morning).

Just made another tweak -- noticed something pointing to ".info" rather than ".net" -- so please try again.
