Wow, the nomination process was pretty amazing.  We had 52 episodes and 3 miniatures eligible.  32 of them were nominated.  Of course, we can't poll that many things.  The above six entries represent only the episodes that were nominated at least three times!  But it's really clear that nearly every episode is someone's favorite, and that's fantastic!

For the poll, you may vote for up to two episodes.  But remember, your vote will count for more if you just vote for one.

Half the voters have picked one story, but the second place is only a couple behind. It's no longer anyone's race, but the first two positions are still in play.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

Yeah. I am one of those with one vote. I fail at reading comprehension. :-(

If we tie, then we will need to have some swordfighters to come in as proxy to settle the debate, and have Amal El-Mohtar narrate it.

I have already tweeted this comment - that's how much I loved it  :D

And congratulations to Anne Ivy, Elizabeth Green Musselman, and Scry - for the best Podcastle episode of 2013!

Alright, everyone fess up. How many of you did Dae sexytime into voting for him?

You can tell the truth. I won't judge.

Agani would be better at sexytime, anyway.

I dunno... guy with anger issues vs. guy with complete lack of anger issues?

Or guy who's passionate about everything he does vs. guy who is literally incapable of emotion.

Potato, potahto, whatever.   ;D

Fate of Agani's most recent lover: violently murdered by Agani immediately after sexytimes.
Fate of Dae's most recent lover: murdered by Dae after a long, fulfilling, and extremely peaceful life together.

While I can't speak for everyone, if we're picking "Sexiest Podcastle Protagonist of 2013," I'm going with the space-elf. ;)

I just want to say I'm really proud to have run all of these stories, especially in the way they reflect the variety we try to showcase at PodCastle.

Clearly we are clamoring for more science fantasy and experimental pieces. 2014's going to be awesome!

I must confess I'm about 7 months behind on all my PodCast(le)s right now so I haven't even had a chance to hear "Scry" yet (or most of the nominated stories, truly..), but I shall have to give it a listen.

Still, I woulda voted for "Sundae" a billion times if I could. That one really got under my skin and stuck there.
