Just wanted to let Shawn - and anyone else interested, of course - know that John Scalzi's Whatever blog has a post for writers/authors/editors to post about their nomination-eligible works, here.

Note that if PseudoPod is to be mentioned on this thread, Shawn has to be the one to do it, because one of the explicitly-stated rules is:
Quote
This thread is only for authors/artists/editors to promote their own works (or in the case of editors, the works they have edited). This includes people eligible for “fan writer” and “fan author” categories. If you’re not an author/artist/editor promoting your own work, don’t post on the thread.

"People commonly use the word 'procrastination' to describe what they do on the Internet. It seems to me too mild to describe what's happening as merely not-doing-work. We don't call it procrastination when someone gets drunk instead of working." - Paul Graham

Can someone also post the 2014 award-eligible stories here?  I nominate for Hugo, but it takes quite a bit of time to figure out the complete list of PP episodes that are eligible because reprints may have been reprinted from 2014 publications, etc.

Crossposted but I posted it anyway because there are 5 that appear to have been published in 2014 but which are not Pseudopod originals.

Yes! I had no idea what was what for Britshock.  I suppose I could search through the submissions box for some of them, but if you know what's what, do send me a PM with that information (or I suppose you could edit the post yourself)

Unblinking, your list was fantastic.  Updated the Britshock list on the Best of 2014 thread to reflect the Britshock info. :)

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

The post on the Pseudopod page says "A gaggle of new Flash Fiction to warm your heart and chill your bones…"
From that I assumed that all 7 of the Britshock stories were Pseudopod originals.  (I could be wrong)

I TRUSTED YOU! *sobs*
you might be right.  They're all currently marked as originals.  If I receive any counter-information, that will be changed.

Please consider this confirmed. All the BRITSHOCK stories are originals. Thank you both for your hard work and effort on this.

I accept responsibility for any confusion, as the base document I shared with BDOOMED was the September version before all the stories were nailed down.

For what it's worth, 37% of all stories on PseudoPod this year were originals (24% if you subtract out all flash).

"Four Views of the Big Cigar in Winter" by Charlie Bookout
http://pseudopod.org/2014/01/17/pseudopod-369-four-views-of-the-big-cigar-in-winter/

The first should be "Party Games"

"Four Views" should move to your second list. It appears that it was published as a kindle book first on January 11, 2014 by the publisher of the anthology that was originally supposed to contain it.

Fixed and fixed.  Thanks for fact-checking!  :)
