Just wanted to let Dave and Anna - and anyone else interested, of course - know that John Scalzi's Whatever blog has a post for writers/authors/editors to post about their nomination-eligible works, here.

Note that if PodCastle is to be mentioned on this thread, Dave or Anna has to be the one to do it, because one of the explicitly-stated rules is:
Quote
This thread is only for authors/artists/editors to promote their own works (or in the case of editors, the works they have edited). This includes people eligible for “fan writer” and “fan author” categories. If you’re not an author/artist/editor promoting your own work, don’t post on the thread.

"People commonly use the word 'procrastination' to describe what they do on the Internet. It seems to me too mild to describe what's happening as merely not-doing-work. We don't call it procrastination when someone gets drunk instead of working." - Paul Graham

Can you post something here too?  I nominate for awards, but it's time-consuming for me to figure out what episodes are eligible since most of them are reprints but those might be reprinted from 2014 publications and thus still be eligible.

Uh, sure :) Please nominate PodCastle for...what, best fancast of 2014? (I don't think we qualify as a Semi-Pro-Zine).

Ohhhhhhhh, you meant the stories we ran. Yes, that's on my short list to do later this week :)

Yes, I think you're right that Podcastle is a Fancast for now.  That's a temporary category unless it gets voted in permanently.  If it doesn't get voted in permanently, then Podcastle will be a SemiProZine because you pay authors but no one's full income is provided by the cast (presumably).

Many thanks, Unblinking :) That'll make my job a bit easier when I record that list!
