I figure enough SF fans watch "24" to be able to help me here.

1.  Is it just me or did they leave a huge hole in the plot with Milo's brother Stuart?  I mean, he shows up, Nadia turns around, and he's gone.  Where did he go?  Did I miss him showing up later?

2.  Was that not kind of a weak ending?  I mean, not the part where Jack let Audrey go, but after that, he's just standing there... the previous seasons all ended with something happening that would lead us to next year, but this season?  I don't know.  Maybe I missed something else.

I'm done with 24, though.  I think it's a very good show, but I can't take the strings of coincidences anymore.  I'm also glad that Prison Break (according to reports I've read in the past) is about to start its last season.  (I'd read that PB was written as a three-season arc and that's it, and if it's not over at the end of next year, I'm still done with it too.)

I think the creators of 24 realized that they went to the well one too many times this year.  I've read in lots of places that they are going to make big changes for next year.  The last several minutes of the last episode felt like a lot of scenes of characters leaving - Chloe and Morris, Buchanan and Hayes, Lennox and Daniels...  I think Stuart was just a mechanism for Nadia to know that Milo did love her, even if he treated her badly in mid-season (a few hours previously).  It wouldn't surprise me if the only character that returns is Jack.

That one boggled my wife and I too.  Why was Stuart even included?  It seemed unnecessary, but they probably have plans for him next season and wanted to introduce him.  Who knows.

I thought the ending was OK.  It's nice to leave the possibilites open.

Oh come on, that's what makes the show so fun.  I agree it becomes overdone quite a bit, but I don't mind swallowing it for a fun fast paced story.

What I have fun with is the product placement.  For a few seasons everybody only drove Fords; this year it seemed to shift to Chevy's.  I remember the first few seasons questioning whether Cisco systems was a product placement or not, but there was no question this year where the Vice-President is having a video conference and the Cisco name and logo cover the entire wall for a full 5 or 6 seconds before the video conference members come into view.  Dell is another one.  Everyone has a Dell laptop.  You can almost justify it by saying "OK CTU has standardized on Dell and some people on the White House staff as well", but then toward the end, they send some information or share the satalite feed or whatever with the Russian president and, lo and behold, the Russians use Dell laptops too.

Does this type of product placement bother me?  No, but it is pretty funny when you start pointing it out.

this season's ending kinda sucked.  Its also extremely illogical in a lot of places, but that's what i love about it!

i also laughed when i saw the giant tvs all sporting the cisco logo on them.

I'd like to hear my options, so I could weigh them, what do you say?
Five pounds?  Six pounds? Seven pounds?

I'm just glad they stuck a messenger bag in last year.  If Jack can carry a man purse, then I can, too.
Long live the Bauer Bag!  :P

I prefer the term I coined a few years ago:  the Jack Sack.

It was okay.  It just felt a little flat.

It's just too much going on.  I have to make some choices next season since I have less time to watch TV now.  My wife and I think we can allow 24 to go this year.

Also Toyotas... Buchanan drove a Toyota, and I remember seeing a few others.  Last year was really the year of the Ford.

I also noticed Ford placement in Casino Royale when I watched it again.

Half the people in the newsroom here have the 24 ringtone.

best ringtone ever after watchin the show.  The radio show in the morning i listen to (when i had school to wake up for) did it a few times. the first time was brilliant, one of the hosts was talking when the ringtone sounded.  he "looked at the caller id" and stated "ooh, its Jack, ill have to call him back"
i was laughing soooo much.  they've done it on many occasions since then, and really, it never gets old

One of our local radio stations (99X) has a good personal relationship with Kiefer Sutherland.  They accidentally got him to leak some details about the 2007 season last fall, before it started.
