One more voice of thanks to Bdoomed, and to everyone who read & commented on the many entries. I thought the feedback showed a great deal of consideration, and I enjoyed reading the comments as much as the stories themselves.

Fun contest!

E-mails are being sent out for "declines".  Please forgive the obvious form rejection!

Might be putting up a poll-intro poll soon Tongue

Many thanks, BDoomed.

Does anyone have suggestions where to shop out these stories? From prior experience, I know in better off leaving them at their original length, and it's hard to find flash markets (or at least it was years ago when the last contest ended).

I've been getting some good use out of Unblinking's Submission Grinder - it not only lets me track my progress, but lets me search for markets.

Update: Also--finding an enthusiastic editor to help you polish is a huge plus.
