It's that time of year again, folks!  Time to reflect on all the horrors that have terrified us over the past year and vote on which ones were the best!

Last year's nomination turnout was... lackluster... to say the least.  Hoping for a bit more involvement this year!
Please select up to three of your favorite stories from 2015.  Feel free to include honorable mentions that don't quite make your list, and feel free to also include any readers from 2015 you think deserve as much attention as the stories!

Without further ado, here is a list of Pseudopod 2015!  Special thanks to Tango Alpha Delta for putting together the Wikia and making the collection of all this information especially easy!

Okay, tough to choose, but my 3 favorites were:

PP433: 20 Simple Steps To Ventriloquism by Jon Padgett, read by Jon Padgett
PP438: Baby Weight by Sarah Benkin, read by EVE
PP432: The Influence Of Thomas Glittio by Arthur Staaz, read by Branan Edgens*

(though I have to say "20 Simple Steps" was definitely my favorite of the year!)

I love all the children in this wretched brood, so I'll post the three I'm proudest of instead:

"When It Ends, He Catches Her" by Eugie Foster read by Tina Connolly. The way Tina's voice catches on the last line kills me every single time. I'm also rather proud of the memorial.

"Drink to Me Only with Labyrinthine Eyes" by Thomas Ligotti, read by Rish Outfield. Great Ligotti story in a month full of Ligotti. I have resigned myself to his unique brand of nihilism. I've even gone to read the X-Files script he wrote. It would have been in the same tier of episodes as "Home" and distinctly Ligotti.

"The Horse Lord" by Lisa Tuttle, read by Christiana Ellis. Far subtler than credit is given. Her collection A Nest of Nightmares was hands down the best anthology I read last year.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

There were two that immediately jumped out at me as my having to nominate them, and a half-dozen other possibles, so I'm just nominating the two:

PP428: When It Ends, He Catches Her by Eugie Foster, read by Tina Connolly

PP455: Turbulence by Scott R. Jones, read by Siobhan Gallichan

There were many good stories this year, but for me, those were the best of the best.

Tough to pick three but…

Pseudopod 433: 20 Simple Steps To Ventriloquism — because, scary as all fuck.

Pseudopod 454: Eastern Promise — because, messing with the idea of free will & agency disturbs me

Pseudopod 455: Turbulence — because, Cthulhu / Area 51 mashup
