Hi everyone!

If there is an episode from before 2016 that you don't see a thread for that you would like to comment upon, please send me a PM and I will be happy to create it!

I'm almost finished with the PodCastle backlog. I've decided that Cast of Wonders gets added to Escape Pod for the purposes of completionism.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

I just noticed that CW158 and CW185 are by the same author... proof of the Illuminati?   ???

There are too many good ones... I'll chime in if anyone else asks for one.

This Wiki Won't Wrangle Itself!

I finally published my book - Tad's Happy Funtime is on Amazon!

Completionism is extremely important. In my world, at the very least.

I refuse to comment on the Illuminati except to say....it doesn't exist.  :-X  ;)

Oh man, there have been many times I wanted to discuss a CoW story. And now I have no idea which ones would top that wish list...

I just listened to Kulturkampf this morning and feel the need to discuss it. I have My Boogie Man queued up for a relisten next week.

All cat stories start with this statement: “My mother, who was the first cat, told me this...”

I will build threads in just a bit. I love those stories!

Edit...the threads for Kulturkampf & My Boogie Man are created :)

I'd love to see a thread for Episode 48, The Malthus Alternative. That's about my all-time fave. It was my first "staff pick".

Hello,

I run an audio fiction review column called The Audio File over at Amazing Stories and Alternate History Weekly Update.  First of all, I'm really excited about Cast of Wonders becoming part of the Escape Artist family.  Being able to track down episode more easily will mean that I'll be able to share all sorts of great stories with my readers.

So I thought I'd give you a little heads up about some stories I have covered or plan to cover.  I figured it might be good with they had discussion threads in case any of my readers find their way over here.  I have or will review in the near future:

Gift Cards of an Ex-Goddess

The Rum Cake Runner

Lizzy Viscera and the Quest for the Perfect Sandwich

All of the Cy de Gurch stories

And if I review any thing else I'll be sure to let you know as soon as possible

Castor Pollux, that's great! Thank you for showcasing some of our stories! May I ask which ones you've done so far? I am hesitant to add threads on the offchance someone may want to comment (a thread without replies makes me sad :( ) but if you feel there will be people wanting to discuss the stories, I will do it after you're columns are released.  Sound good?

Sure thing!  And here's the stories I've reviewed:

All of the Cy de Gurch stories

Camp Myth

The Rum Cake Runner

Lizzy Viscera and the Quest for the Perfect Sandwitch

I've also reviewed Above Decks, The Haunted Jalopy Races and and Kulturkampf, but those already have threads.  I can't garentee that people will come, but I like to thing at least a few will.

I have created threads for all but the Cy de Gurch stories and Gift Cards. I will do the Cy stories later today (ideally). Let me know when you do the column for Gift Cards and I will add that as well :)

So, Mr. Scampers deserves a slot here.

Well it took me nearly a year to get back to you, personal matters to attend to and all that, but I've got that edition of my column, The Audio File, featuring Gift Cards of an Ex-Goddess: http://amazingstoriesmag.com/2016/08/audio-file-religion-speculative-fiction/

And while I was at it, I reviewed The Middle Rages: http://amazingstoriesmag.com/2017/04/audio-file-settling-final-frontier/

By the way, I'm going to be quitting Amazing Stoires soon and moving The Audio File, and all my reviews, to my personal blog.  I'm pretty sure I'll be including a Cast of Winders story (or two or three) in my final Audio File on Amazing Stoires.  I'll get back to you when I know for sure who will be on the roster
