Have you been thinking about helping with the wiki, but you don't know quite where to start?
How about checking out the
Most Wanted Pages list!
There is a handy tutorial and some other information
in this thread, and you can always comment on the wiki if you need my help.
Pro Tip: Don't know what to put on a new page?
I've been copying the author/narrator bios that EA includes on each episode and adapting those as the body of each wiki page. I also try to list all of that author or narrator's contributions to all our podcasts. You can find that information a couple of ways.
1. Use the search field on the podcast's site to find the episodes featuring the subject of your page.
2. Use the "What Links Here" to figure out which podcasts have featured your subject. The bottom of your wiki screen should have a "My tools" tab - if you hover over that, you'll see the "What Links Here" link. Here's an example of "
What Links to Pseudopod" so you can see how that works.
If you want to get really fancy, you can edit the url and change the link from "
http://escape-artists.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Pseudopod" to "
http://escape-artists.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Alasdair_Stuart" to see what links to Al's page. (You can do that with pages that don't exist, yet, too - "
http://escape-artists.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/H._P._Lovecraft" for example.)
We're close to having 300 pages on the Wikia site already - but we have hundreds more to make, if we want a complete guide for new listeners and returning fans.
No pressure!
