Betting pool question:
  • When will the forums hit 1000 members?

Rules:
  • Each person gets 1 bet.
  • Each bet covers a quarter hour (7am 1st quarter= 7:00:00am-7:14:59am)
  • All bets must be at least one month in the future
  • All times are in ST (Steve Time, East coast US)
  • If nobody gets the exact quarter, judges will pick the closest bet.
  • No stealing anyone else's bet. (if you see somebody accidentally took your bet, inform them of their mistake and ask them to change their bet)

Prize:
  • You can brag about it as much as you want in this thread

September 16th, 7pm, 4th quarter (19:45:00-19:59:59)

BTW, why must the bets all be at least 1 month into the future? What if, for whatever reason, EscapePod attracts way more visitors in July, so that we reach the 1000 in the beginning of August, everyone has lost. (Unless one person would take August 19th - 4:45:00 - 4:59:59 (which was one month from topicstart) Smiley )

Looking at the recent numbers I didn't see it as a possibility that we would reach 1000 in the next month.  The idea was to keep someone from waiting until we were at 992 and then placing a bet.  The longer someone waits the better chance they have of figuring out the date.

Our 1000th member, protodrone, joined at 9:32 PM Sept.12th.

That makes Anarkey our big winner.  Her bet was less than two and a half hours off.  Congratulations, feel free to start bragging.
