Title: New Server

As some of you may have noticed by the appearance of a "We're moving..." message, we've switched servers for the Escape Artists forums.  This is now running on a VPS system, instead of the Dreamhost servers that have been getting less and less reliable as time passed.

The intended result is that things should now be much faster and more reliable.  After a day or so to monitor performance, I intend to move the Escape Pod and Pseudopod blog sites to this machine as well.  The only thing I'll keep Dreamhost for is to serve MP3 files.

However, right now this is a testing phase.  So if you see anything that doesn't work, please let me know ASAP.  Thanks very much, and enjoy.

Avatars and file attachments should be fixed now.  Sorry for taking so long.

Any noticed any other problems?

I still don't have 90% of the avatars.

You may need to clear your browser's cache or something.  They're there, I swear; I clicked on a couple dozen of them in the admin file browser just to make sure they'd load.
