Title: Worst Film Poll: Group C
Post by: Russell Nash on November 28, 2007, 01:36:50 PM
The links, once again, go to IMDB instead of Amazon.  I didn't think anyone would be interested in buying one of these stinkers.

There are five really bad films here.  I can't make my decision yet.  What I can say is that MiBII doesn't belong here.  It wasn't good, but I watched it to the end.  Three of these films I couldn't stomach enough to finish.

Heh. I just voted for MBII. I saw National Treasure on a plane, and it was tolerable. I never managed to see MBII in one sitting. Independence Day was horrible, but not as horrible as MBII. I never tried watching the other three, so I have no opinion about them.

I think I saw MiBII in the theater and have seen it on TV.  National Treasure, I spent the whole time saying, "you've got to be kidding me" and almost turned it off seven or eight times.  Independence Day I saw in the theater and didn't walk out just because I didn't want people telling me how great the ending was and Kicking myself for leaving early.  King Arthur and Pearl Harbor, I turned off.  By the time the Japanese attacked I was routing for them.

I absolutely hated LXG.  The only other thing close for me was Pearl Harbor.

I can't hate that much on Independance Day.  The last 1/3 was stupid but I still found it entertaining.  I can't say the same thing for LXG or Pearl Harbor.

See now King Arthur being on there?  That's a bit unfair.  That was horribly, horribly screwed in post-production and the DVD release is actually the film they wanted to make.  End result?  Much bloodier, much nastier, much more background on the Saxons and the final battle isn't the same ten minutes of footage recut, twice.  It's actually a pretty good movie in that version.

They started with Arthur as a Roman and went down hill from there.

I never even finished The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, my wife couldn't take it. Still a bummer that it was so bad...

Well yeah, but halfway through Excalibur, someone at Camelot invents polish and suddenly every knight is shiny;)  Swings and roundabouts.

Heh, I love Excalibur.  One of my all time favorites.

I'll bet you can't wait for National Treasure II.  Saw the trailer recently, more of the same crap.

Never saw LXG, now I never will.  I had to vote for ID.

League of Extrodinary Gentlemen crushed all competition and moves to the final round.
