Title: The Lost EP Episode
Post by: FNH on February 13, 2008, 09:23:23 PM
On my way home the other day I was listening to EP 144 when the battery died half way through.  Sliipin' in the next fresh battery the player jumped to the next podcast.

So I did consider trying to fast forward through half an episode, but in the end I decided that I should treat this episode like a fine piece of art.

I will not back to it, I will not try to re-live the dream.  I will not gorge myself on the excellence that the episode was.  I  suspect that like childhood television programme viewed in adulthood, it will sour when reviewed.  So instead I've chosen to let it lie.  I shall always look back on the "Lost Episode" with fondness.

I absolutely will not spend any time thinking about how it would have ended...

You could write your own ending to it as an experiment.

His best friend dies in the War, he gets shot in the rump, he meets LBJ, he becomes independently wealthy in the shrimping industry with the help of his mad, legless former commander, his true love dies of AIDS, and he runs back and forth across the country about 5 times.

Oh, wrong EP.

"Violet" was the toboggan that she had as a child.
Oh wait ... That was from the alternate universe version, of "EP105: Improbable Fantasies".
