What an amazing time to be alive.  What's next?  Moon pie?

Cool story, but I was bummed when I saw a picture of the robot.  I pictured something cool looking- like Robby the Robot- strolling about Hotlanta.

If he was really serious, he'd get all "old school" on them:

Jamie "Mythbusters" Hyneman's trophy-winning "Blendo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blendo)"

The entire shell and perimeter ring serves as a flywheel, driven by a gas lawnmower engine. Quick and deadly. It was banned from continuing in its first competition because it was sending debris from its shredded opponents into the audience, and they gave it an "honorable mention" for design.

Mark Setrakian's combat robot "The Master"

Sorry I couldn't find a better photo of it with the sawblade attachment.
Minimal "flipper" configuration:

It was very agile in the ring.

If he just wants to scare the hell out of them, then go with Setrakian's "Mechadon"

Not that good in a fight, but still The. Coolest. Combat. Robot. Evar!

Or Setrakian's "Snake"

Again, not a great fighter but very high "WTF?" factor.
