Post by: CGFxColONeill on March 17, 2008, 05:05:49 AM
Any one else seen it yet?
what did you think?
I thought it was good but there were somethings that were missing ie Richard Dean Anderson
of course I may be a little biased...
anyhow let me know what you guys thought of it if you have seen it

Overall I liked SG:TAOT, but I question...

***SPOILERS BELOW***
why in the name of the Manifold there was a replicator cyborg (let alone a replicator cyborg skeleton) in it.  I mean, really, what did they do, think of all the sci fi cliches that they've used and realized that they hadn't had any cyborgs (nanites notwithstanding) yet?
***SPOILERS ABOVE***

In terms of things that worked well, I really liked the Daniel-Vala-Tomin scenes and the subtle set-up for future films.

Saw it, liked it. Seemed like a long episode with a hefty budget (and I don't mean that as a bad thing). After all, it was intended as a wrap-up to the Ori story line, so I suppose seeming like an episode would be natural. I still liked it enough to purchase my own copy.

I hear Richard Dean Anderson will be in the next direct-to-dvd movie coming out this summer (yea!!!)
