Does anybody recall which EP episode contained the J. Coulton song "Still Alive"? I thought it was "Artifice and Intelligence" but I just checked and it doesn't seem to be there.

I don't think any episode contained "Still Alive" - it's not Creative Commons, as it's owned by Valve. IIRC, There was one episode where Steve said he would like to have been able to use it, but that's as close as we got.

I Feel Fantastic was in EP151, Chiron Beta Prime was in EP138, and Better was in EP141. No Still Alive though.

I should point out that there are plenty of places on the web that you can hear/download "Still Alive", in either the game version or the version that Coulton sings himself. Valve seems pretty liberal about allowing it to exist out there. But Steve takes EP's licensing terms seriously, and I'll doubt he'll compromise that just to put in a cool song.

I could have sworn that there was an episode in which Steve played a song and prefaced it by saying something like, the only other way to hear this song is to finish the game Portal.
(I finished Portal last night.)

I think you're recalling the end of EP142, where Steve said he would play Still Alive if he could, but he can't, so he recommended finishing Portal instead.

If the song was never on EP, then that must be what I'm remembering. Thanks. :)
