I've had an offer from someone who would like to sell a T-Shirt with a custom Union Dues logo on it. We are in the early stages of negotiation as to what a design might look like and stuff... but I am trying to gauge if there is any interest in such a thing and since you guys are the audience for the stories, I'd see how you felt.
This poll will close in 10 days.
Thanks in advance :)
Mods, please delete this if it isn't acceptable to post (don't want to cause any trouble, just trying to see if there is a market for these things).
I will gladly try and answer any questions that you might have while the poll is active.

I probably would, but man, my money is so tight (single income household working for the poorest state in the union: do the math)! I'm going to decline to vote, but, if I had the disposable income, I would buy one in the $8-15 range (less than that I may worry about the quality of the shirt). Love those stories... well, the three I've heard, anyway.

Of course, you know, Jeff... me, Roy, and Will have a birthday coming up not long after the poll closes... ::)
(Will is kind of sensitive about it being his "deathday", too, so you probably shouldn't mention it to him...just give his to Francis Bacon. Since he has also reached "The End of the Line", Birdless can have Roy's; then we'll ALL be happy.)

Cool idea. If I get some extra cash on me (come on, $600 tax rebate.. come on..) I would certainly consider picking one up.
-
Any idea what it would look like? Concept art, that kind of thing?
I'm definitely interested, but that all depends on the design...
-
Assuming the logo is cool I would go up to and including $15 (including shipping). It's tough to make a call until I see the shirt though. There are some shirts that sound cool in theory, but are poorly executed.

... poorly executed? Like... a zombie convict shirt?

That would be one option. I was thinking more like a stick figure of a zombie and that's it.

I'm with Chodon. A Union Dues T-shirt sounds cool and I'd buy it even if it were blank, but I think for real appeal it would either need to be something with really cool graphics, or something of an inside joke for the wearer.

You say stick figure zombies (http://xkcd.com/348/) like it's a bad thing.

Hah! That's funny, just not t-shirt material.

I assume that the moderators, who didn't take down this thread, get shirts for free. ;D
