Gavin Grant & kelly link have announced the publisher of this wonderful annual anthology has discontinued it.

Per the comments Ellen Datlow apparently has another Year's Best Horror thing she's inked a deal for, which is of less relevance to me personally because Im not a huge horror fan.

I was very dismayed by this news.

I always enjoyed reading these -- they were my first exposure to short fantasy and short horror, and in reading the first one that I read (I think it was #7) I think my tastes for certain types of F and H were shaped. My favorite from that anthology was "More Tomorrow" by Michael Marshall Smith.
