I'm guessing Pyramid Song is #1, simply because it (with HTDC and Let Down) is one of the three best things they've done.

Nope. My #1 on that record is You and Whose Army? My all time #1, at least for the last year and a half or so, is A Wolf at the Door.

I think, as for best things they've done (in no particular order)-

The Tourist
You and Whose Army?
The National Anthem
A Wolf At the Door
Myxamatosis
Reckoner

The entire OK Computer album. It's perfect, and best listened to straight through over and over and over and over and over again.

True Love Waits

Then there's a HUUUGE second tier of "amazing" songs, none of which are quite good enough to fit onto this elite tier I have. But I'd have to include all of you choices in that, and I have to agree that they are an album band more than a band with massive singles. Listening to OK Computer (or Kid A) all the way through makes me feel a lot differently about the songs than listening to them on their own does. It all links up to create an atmosphere, an emotional journey (cliche alert).

Hey, that's ok, I'm just pleased I know what's going on :)

And by the way, I should point out that while Radiohead isn't exactly my taste, they are a band I have a lot of respect for - they seem to be very good at what they do, and I know a *lot* of people who are huge fans.

I never really "got" Pink Floyd, but I see people who are at least as devoted to them as I am to Radiohead, so I have respect for them. It's just- me and those people aren't really on the same frequency. Thanks for the tolerance :)
