Steve Huff speculates, quite convincingly, on the true identity of the "mystery" author John Twelve Hawks, who's penned 'The Traveler' and 'The Dark River' so far (with the third in the series to come out in September, I guess..I cant wait).
This is debatably fantasy, falls a bit into one of those grey areas.. hard to say, though. At least for me who isn't a "hard sci fi only" person.
Anyway, his argument makes excellent reading:

Huh. I've seen Twelve Hawks books in stores, but I didn't know there was some kind of mystery surrounding his secret identity.
I wonder what his superpower is...

I'm still trying to find out who Richard Bachman really is.
(I've heard it's Stephen King, but I think that's just a red herring. Too convenient.)
-
Well I might as well out with it..
I'm Richard Bachman.
-
All I know is I'm Spartacus.
-
I am the God of Hellfire!
Or Batman. I never can remember.
-
You might be the god of batman???
-
Oh, no no no. Batman's far more inclined to rub the belly of the Buddha.
So I've heard.

Batman's far more inclined to rub the belly of the Buddha.
is that when he is not assaulting the mentally ill?
